The Dreamplace Archive is a non-commercial creative project. We do not run ads, sell products, or monetize visitor data in any way. This policy explains what limited data is collected when you use the site and what happens to it.
This site is hosted on Netlify. As with all web hosting, Netlify automatically records server access logs whenever anyone visits the site. These logs include IP addresses, browser type, referring URL, pages visited, and timestamps. This happens for every visitor regardless of whether they interact with any form or feature.
Additionally, Netlify Web Analytics is active on this site. It records pageviews, unique visitor counts, bandwidth usage, and general traffic patterns. This analytics system does not use cookies and does not track individuals across sessions. No personal data is extracted from it.
We do not control how Netlify handles infrastructure logs. Their privacy policy applies to that data and can be read at netlify.com/privacy.
If you submit a form through the Contribute page, we collect the data you provide. This may include:
Beyond Netlify's infrastructure logging described above, we do not collect any additional data from visitors who do not submit a form.
Submitted data is used for one purpose only: reviewing your contribution and, if relevant, following up with you via the email address you provided. Your email address is never published on the site. Your name or alias may appear on published content if your submission is accepted, exactly as you entered it.
We do not use your data for marketing, profiling, or any purpose beyond the above.
Form submissions are processed and stored by Netlify, the platform that hosts this site. Netlify's own privacy policy applies to how they handle that data on their infrastructure. You can read it at netlify.com/privacy.
We do not transfer your data to any other third party.
Submissions are kept in the Netlify dashboard for as long as the site is active, or until we manually delete them. If your submission is rejected, the data is deleted. If your submission is accepted and published, your name or alias remains on the site as attribution for your contribution.
You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data you have submitted. To do so, email us at creator@thedreamplace.net with the subject line "Data Request." We will respond within 30 days.
