Level 2 is a library that seems to expand indefinitely. It is always dimly lit by old lanterns hung onto the walls. The place is not static and constantly expands with new knowledge every second. Reading rooms are present. There is always a stone tablet where the Rules are written in the Welcoming Hall.
The threshold difficult was deemed proper due to the rules of Level 2.
Books in Library reported to include every knowledge in every reality. This includes unnecessary information such as "There is a cat at this exact location" to significant information like what's inside Black Holes. Information about the Dreamplace may also be found. Some information found in books are listed below.
Upon passing the Ancestral Trial, the wanderer/stray will find themselves in a Welcoming Hall. This place is decorated with a red carpet, lanterns, and resources to drink and eat. A staircase is always present in the Welcoming Hall that leads back to Level 0. The Rule list will be found in the Welcoming Hall. It is reported that The Rule list will always be in the reader's own language.
These rooms contain tables, chairs, and resources. Distinguishably well lit compared to other places in the Level. These rooms offer excellent sound insulation and unlike other places in the level, speaking is completely prohibited including whispering.
Level 2 has subtle classical music near bookshelves, reading rooms are reported to be entirely silent.
Level 2 is known to have specific rules you need to follow throughout the Level.
Unless you break any rules, Librarians will keep you safe.
Librarians are a type of stray the Dreamplace produces. They're only present in Level 2. They are known to uphold the rules of Library. The appearance of Librarians are reported to be as following: Slim and tall body, long limbs, unnaturally small head, a circular opening that serves as a mouth in the center of their face, 7 eyes distributed around their mouth.
Librarians are not hostile unless you break the rules of Library. They always seem eager to have conversations with wanderers and strays. They are known to be helpful in retrieving books when asked. Asking Librarians is the only safe way to read books in Level 2.

The Round Staircase in the Welcoming Hall can be used to return to Level 0. The reason for skipping Level 1 is explained in Level 1 Reward section.
Some bookshelves hide a puzzle behind them. These bookshelves can be found using The Locator. The puzzle consists of 4 book slots, and a stone rune with an information piece on it. This puzzle changes each time, and requires different books each time. The proximity area for these books can be found using The Locator after discovering them. Every wanderer/stray is required to ask for help from Librarians to retrieve these books. Finishing the puzzle will move the stone rune and reveal an elevator that leads to Level 3.
